General

How do I prove I'm a student?

You must be an active student, faculty member, or staff of a campus affiliated with Grubhub to be eligible. You can indicate your affiliation by registering your campus card and verifying your student status on the app.

How do I know what kind of program my campus has?

Search for your campus on the app, in the Account tab under Campus Dining. You'll see what your campus offers!

I can't find my campus in the app.

If you don't see your campus listed it means that, unfortunately, we're not partnered with your campus.

I already have an account on Grubhub. Will I need to create a new account with my university credentials?

Nope. As long as you connect your university ID to your Grubhub account, you can activate your Grubhub+ Student membership and place orders.

I graduated and no longer want to see on-campus restaurants. How do I fix this?

To unaffiliate from your campus and no longer be a Campus Diner, in your Grubhub app navigate to My Grubhub > Settings (gear icon, top right) > Campus Dining > I am no longer affiliated with this campus.

Ordering Pickup & Delivery

How does ordering for pickup work?

To order ahead for pickup on your campus, go to the “My Grubhub” tab, tap on Settings on the top right, and select “Campus dining”. Follow the instructions to select your campus and place an order the exact same way you do when you order delivery. You will be notified when your order has been prepared and is ready for pickup. Remember to enable your push notifications on the Grubhub app so you do not miss your order updates.

My pickup order is delayed. What should I do?

To check the status of your pickup order, please speak to a restaurant staff member and request an update. If they are unable to assist, please reach out to Care from the 'Help' option on your order page.

I went to pick up my order and it was not there.

Please speak directly to the staff at the restaurant and let them know you cannot find your order. If you still need assistance, please contact Care by navigating to the “Help” option of your order's screen.

What do I do if I accidentally chose pickup but I meant delivery? (or vice versa)

If your order has not been prepared yet by the restaurant, Care can cancel it so you are able to place a new one for the service type you intended (pickup or delivery). For further assistance, please reach out to Care via the “Help” option of your order's screen. We are only able to cancel orders before they are prepared by the restaurant.

Can I change or cancel a delivery order after I've placed it?

To cancel an order scheduled for ASAP delivery, please contact Care by navigating to the “Help” option of your order screen. Make sure to reach out right away, as we may not be able to cancel the order once the restaurant has begun preparing the food.

How do I schedule a delivery order for a future time or date?

Currently, on-campus scheduled orders are only available at a limited number of on-campus restaurants and/or shops. If a restaurant offers schedule-ahead orders, this will be available through a separate menu.

How do I check the status of my order?

To view your order status, navigate to the “My Grubhub” section of your app and your current order should populate in green with an option to “Track”. If you don't see any current orders, reach out to our Care team by selecting Settings, or the gear icon in the top right corner, and scrolling down to the “Help” section.

Payments & promos

I am unable to add my Campus Card or Credit Card. What should I do?

First, check to make sure your university's campus card is accepted on the app and that your credentials are correct. If you still have difficulties, please contact Care by reporting an issue in the app from the “Help” screen found in Settings and provide a screenshot of the error you are receiving.

How do I redeem a promotion code?

On-campus promotional codes will be received by email or push notification and are in the form of a word (e.g. SUBS, TREAT, COFFEE) These codes will have a dollar amount associated with them ($2 off) and are subject to terms and conditions. These codes are only eligible to be applied to on-campus orders. Off- campus promotional codes will be received by email or push notification and are in the form of an unique code.These codes will be unique codes and are only valid for use on personal(non- corporate) accounts.Offer and participation are subject to the Grubhub Terms of Use, available at https://www.grubhub.com/legal/terms-of-use. What do I do if I accidentally choose the wrong payment type?

If you selected the wrong card at checkout, please contact Care and let us know which card you would like to use instead via the help screen on your current order

Can I use a Grubhub gift card?

Currently, Grubhub Gift cards are only available for use at off-campus locations.

Grubhub+ Student

What is Grubhub+ for students?

Grubhub+ Student is a membership program that college students enrolled at select universities can access for free.*

How do I sign up for Grubhub+ for students?

You can sign up for Grubhub+ Student by affiliating and adding your campus card to your profile. Once completed, you'll receive an inapp popup that will prompt you to join GH+ Student. Alternatively, you can also Go to Account -> Grubhub+ to sign up for your free Grubhub+ Student.

What are the benefits of Grubhub+ for students?

Students receive $0 delivery fees on eligible orders from off-campus restaurants, lower service fees on eligible delivery orders, 5% back in Grubhub+ credit on eligible off-campus pickup orders, and exclusive deals.

Do I need a meal plan or Dining Dollars to use Grubhub+ as a student?

Not at all! Users can either use their dining dollars, a credit card, or a debit card and still receive Grubhub+ benefits.

Are there any limitations on what I can order?

You can't use Grubhub+ Student to purchase alcohol, tobacco products (including e-cigarettes), gift cards, or lottery tickets.
